We are looking for a Maintenance Technician to join our team and assist in maintaining our beautiful residential property in safe, attractive, and compliant condition. You will perform a variety of maintenance tasks such as painting, HVAC installations, landscaping, etc. The ideal candidate will be able to work autonomously and responsibly by observing all health and safety guidelines. The goal is to maintain the buildings and common areas in the best possible condition so we can offer a great community to our residents. We offer... Responsibilities:
Survey buildings and repair mechanical systems to ensure consistency with health & safety. Perform maintenance of electrical systems (replace light bulbs and sockets, clean/repair circuit breaker panels, etc.) Assist in setup of ventilation, refrigeration and other systems, conduct repairs when necessary. Maintain heating & plumbing systems to ensure functionality. Inspect alarm systems & schedule repairs when needed. Perform manual repairs when necessary (fix locks, replace windows, etc.). Undertake activities of pest control such as spraying insecticide. Conduct general upkeep procedures and other tasks as assigned (e.g. landscaping, painting, carpentry).
Skills:
Two years' experience in apartment community maintenance, residential facility maintenance, or equivalent practical experience in fields such as remodeling, commercial maintenance, and construction. Possess knowledge typically acquired through high school diploma or GED; read at twelfth-grade level, able to read and understand warning labels. Ability to calculate measurements in inches, feet, and yards. Demonstrated practical technical abilities, including but not limited to HVAC repair, appliance repair, painting, roofing, water heater replacement/repair, simple carpentry, plumbing, glass replacement, and electrical. Manual dexterity and problem-solving skills. Good physical condition and strength with a willingness to work overtime. Valid driver's license & good driving record.
