Maintenance Technician

The Role You'll be the go-to expert responsible for keeping our facility, production equipment, and machinery in peak condition. This is a hands-on role that combines troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and collaboration with production teams to eliminate downtime and improve processes. Key Responsibilities

• Perform skilled repairs and maintenance on plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems
• Rapidly troubleshoot and resolve equipment breakdowns using schematics, blueprints, manuals, and diagnostic tools
• Execute preventive and predictive maintenance programs to maximize uptime and extend equipment life
• Dismantle, repair, and reassemble machinery; install new or refurbished components with precision
• Partner with production operators and supervisors to identify recurring issues and implement lasting solutions
• Recommend equipment upgrades or modifications and coordinate with outside contractors when needed
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs, inventory of spare parts/tools, and warranty documentation
• Operate forklifts and pallet jacks safely and efficiently
• Champion safety—strict adherence to LOTO, PPE, and all OSHA-compliant practices
• Keep the shop clean, organized, and running like a well-oiled machine (literally) What You Bring
• 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment (metalworking a strong plus)
• Proven expertise in mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
• Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
• Comfortable with precision measuring tools, hand tools, and power tools
• Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Solid computer skills—experience with Microsoft Office a plus
• Excellent problem-solving mindset and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Outstanding safety record and commitment to safe work practices
• Strong communication skills—you'll be interacting with operators, supervisors, and vendors daily
