Job Description
Leading provider of transport packaging materials is seeking a full time Site Technician on 1st shift!
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 6am-2:30pmDuties:
Machine Maintenance :
Perform regular maintenance on equipment, ensuring that all machinery is operating efficiently and safely. Complete the Weekly Machine Maintenance form and communicate all completed forms to the administrative team.Safety Compliance:
Follow all safety rules and guidelines at all times. Ensure Lock Out and Tag Out procedures are followed when conducting repairs or maintenance. Communicate any safety concerns to the Site Manager or Shift Lead immediately.Low Voltage Repairs :
Handle and perform repairs only on low voltage (24V) equipment, ensuring that all repairs are completed according to safety standards and protocolsEquipment Issue Resolution :
Ensure that all mechanical or equipment issues are resolved promptly to prevent production delays.Tool and Parts Management :
Ensure that all tools and parts are accounted for and stored correctly in the tool room. Maintain cleanliness and organization within the tool storage area.GMP and SQF Compliance:
Work according to GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and SQF (Safe Quality Food)Team Collaboration:
Work effectively as part of the team. Communicate with colleagues and management to resolve issues.Production Support:
Complete any production tasks assigned by the Site Manager. Be flexible in assisting the production team as needed. Qualified candidates will have knowledge of equipment maintenance and repair, particularly for low voltage (24V) systems, strong problem-solving skills to quickly address and resolve equipment issues and minimize downtime, and a good attention to detail with the ability to accurately track tools, parts, and maintenance activities, ensuring that all tasks are completed. Must be able to lift up to 55 pounds.Pay:
