Position Title:
Floor Care Technician Department:
Environmental Services Reports to Director of Environmental Services Full Time - 8a-4:30pm, including every other weekend and every other holiday Qualifications High School diploma. Experience with floor maintenance equipment. Essential Functions 1. Ability to perform cleaning procedures in accordance with facility policy. 2. Ability to perform waste disposal procedures in accordance with facility policy. 3. Ability to assist in the general cleanliness of buildings. 4. Ability to follow oral directions. 5. Ability to follow written directions. 6. Ability to assist in the proper care and use of janitorial equipment. 7. Ability to attend in-service training programs for janitorial employees. 8. Ability to come to work in a clean, neat uniform. 9. Ability to follow Resident's rights policies at all times. 10. Ability to follow facility safety program. 11. Ability to observe infection control procedures related to the Housekeeping Department. 12. Ability to come to work as scheduled and consistently demonstrates dependability and punctuality. 13. Ability to accept assigned duties in a cooperative manner. 14. Ability to assume accountability for data contained in the Staff Handbook. 15. Ability to know, understand and exemplify the
