2987662852-2 Apply for this job now Job Description As a Maintenance Technician at Wallick Communities, you will help create safe, comfortable homes for residents in affordable multifamily and senior living communities. You'll perform routine and preventive maintenance, troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliances, and complete work orders in a timely, resident-focused manner. Working closely with a collaborative team, you'll support unit turns, property inspections, and emergency calls, contributing to a culture of integrity, respect, and continuous improvement while growing your technical and professional skills. Responsibilities Perform routine and preventive maintenance on building systems, units, and common areas Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliance issues Complete work orders promptly while communicating status with supervisors and residents Inspect properties for safety, code compliance, and general upkeep Support unit turns, renovations, and capital improvement projects Maintain tools, equipment, and maintenance supply inventory Respond to emergency maintenance calls as needed, including occasional after-hours support Document work performed and follow company maintenance standards and procedures Required Skills Building maintenance HVAC troubleshooting Basic plumbing repair Basic electrical repair Appliance repair Preventive maintenance Work order management Safety and code compliance Hand and power tool use Basic computer/mobile maintenance systems
