About the Role As a Manufacturing Maintenance Technician, you will serve as a vital technical expert responsible for optimizing equipment reliability and ensuring seamless production flow. You will leverage your expertise in mechanical and electrical systems to minimize downtime, drive continuous improvement, and empower production teams through hands-on technical guidance. Responsibilities Diagnose and resolve complex equipment malfunctions to ensure consistent operational output. Execute comprehensive preventative maintenance schedules to extend asset lifecycles and maximize uptime. Analyze performance metrics to proactively identify and rectify mechanical or electrical inefficiencies. Lead loss-elimination initiatives and implement process improvements to enhance overall equipment effectiveness. Mentor production staff on autonomous maintenance practices and equipment standard operating procedures. Manage technical documentation, work orders, and parts inventory to maintain organizational readiness. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prioritize maintenance tasks and support facility-wide reliability goals. Required Skills High school diploma or GED equivalent. Minimum of 3 years of experience in industrial maintenance within a regulated manufacturing environment. Advanced troubleshooting proficiency with conveyors, pumps, pneumatics, and drive systems. Solid understanding of GMP and OSHA safety protocols. Ability to interpret complex technical manuals, schematics, and SOPs. Preferred Skills Formal technical training or trade school certification. Hands-on experience utilizing CMMS software for maintenance tracking. Demonstrated ability to lead training sessions for machine operators.
