Maintenance Position Available:

Live-In Option + 40 Hours Per Week We're seeking a reliable, skilled maintenance professional to join our hotel team. This position includes on-site living accommodations, plus a commitment of about 40 hours per week. Key responsibilities include routine repairs, preventative maintenance, and ensuring a smooth, safe stay for guests. We offer a stable environment, a comfortable residence, and a supportive team. Maintains the physical condition of the hotel according to establish operating and safety standards, ensuring that service requests and repairs are made correctly and in a timely manner.

JOB DUTIES

Performs general guest room and public area maintenance and repairs Caulking, Carpet Cleaning, Exterior maintenance. Checks on all guest room televisions sets, and lighting systems, making repairs where necessary. Provides guest room service/repair status to Front Desk and House Keeping Supervisor. Performs painting and wall surface repairs. Responds in a timely, courteous manner to guest questions, complaints or requests. Properly maintains tools, workspaces, and equipment. Completes preventive maintenance checklists and other maintenance records. Performs other duties as assigned. Carpentry a plus Maintains outside appearance of hotel and property cleanliness

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimal maintenance experience required Knowledge of basic electrical and plumbing maintenance. Experience with general maintenance tools. Troubleshooting ability with skills in painting and carpentry. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Ability to push, pull, bend, stoop, and reach upward. Ability to tolerate exposure to high temperatures and cleaning products. Ability to communicate effectively with guests and coworkers. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
