Job Description

General Purpose:
Perform a wide range of machine, equipment, and building maintenance, repairs, installations, modifications, and general upkeep operations. Involves millwright, pipefitting, carpentry, electrical, and painting procedures.
Essential Functions:
Responsibilities that are requirements in order to perform the job: Troubleshoot and repair pumps, valves, motors, conveyorsystemsand pneumaticequipment. Preventative maintenance. Maintain plant facilities and physical structures Assistwith design,fabrication,and installation of new equipment Basic mechanical skills Ability to follow written and verbal directions and procedures Self- motivatedand works well in a team environment. 5S Experience Helpful Comply withall safety, environmental, and quality regulations and requirements follow the
PSM/RMP Supportive Functions:
In addition to performance of the essential functions, this position may be required to perform a combination of supportive functions based on business needs: During the course of job duties, must be able to prevent / contain chemical spills in order to ensure employee safety and protection of the environment
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
The individual must possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities and be able to explain and demonstrate that he or she can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation: Job requires the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules,operatingand maintenance instructions and procedure manuals This position requires the ability to effectively present information to other employees of the organization Correctly perform basic math calculations
Education/Experience Guidelines:
High School or GED required 1-4years related maintenance experience Experience working in Manufacturing/Chemical environment preferred Demonstrated oral and written communication skills Ability to work alone and with team members
Physical Demands:

Work Environment:
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud. On occasion, the employee will be exposed to wet/humid conditions (non-weather), fumes or airborne particles, outdoor weather, extreme heat/cold (non-weather), toxic or caustic chemicals, risk of electrical shock, working near moving mechanical parts, working in precarious places, and vibration.
