Job Description Maintenance Mechanic I Kenton, OH Pay:
$28.00/hour | Weekly Pay LaborMax Staffing is hiring an experienced Maintenance Mechanic. This position is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing manufacturing equipment and facility systems. Work may include mechanical, millwright, pipefitting, carpentry, electrical, and general maintenance duties. Job Duties- Troubleshoot and repair pumps, valves, motors, conveyor systems, and pneumatic equipment
- Perform preventative maintenance
- Maintain plant facilities and physical structures
- Assist with equipment fabrication, installation, and modifications
- Perform general mechanical and building maintenance
- Assist with preventing and containing chemical spills as needed
- Follow all safety, environmental, and quality requirements
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- 1-4 years of related maintenance experience
- Manufacturing or chemical environment experience preferred
- Basic mechanical skills
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Ability to perform basic math calculations
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- 5S experience is helpful 2 Pay & Schedule
