This role is critical to minimizing downtime, supporting safe operations, and ensuring equipment meets performance and quality standards. Key Responsibilities Perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and adjustments on production and assembly equipment Troubleshoot mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical issues to minimize downtime Install and maintain water, compressed air piping, ductwork, and electrical conduit Diagnose equipment failures using diagrams, manuals, and precision measuring instruments Repair or replace defective components using hand tools, power tools, and forklifts Fabricate parts for in-house use using machine shop tools and equipment Maintain accurate documentation and communicate maintenance needs across teams Monitor equipment inventories and report supply needs Promote cost control and safe work practices Perform other duties as assigned Required Qualifications High School Diploma or GED Ability to read, write, and speak English proficiently 3+ years of experience as a maintenance mechanic in a manufacturing environment Strong mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical troubleshooting skills Working knowledge of three-phase electricity and low-voltage control circuits Ability to size electrical wiring based on load requirements Welding and fabrication experience Above-average math skills including fractions and precision measurement Safe operation of standard hand and power tools Preferred Experience Experience with industrial gas furnaces or glass manufacturing equipment Experience with thermal oxidizers and control wiring
