Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and skilled Deck Builder to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for constructing durable, high-quality decks that enhance outdoor living spaces. Your expertise in carpentry, metal building erection, concrete forming, and remodeling will be essential to delivering exceptional results for our clients. Responsibilities Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to ensure accurate deck installation and framing. Erect metal buildings and install metal stud framing with precision and safety in mind. Construct decks using dimensional measurements, trim carpentry, and woodworking techniques, ensuring structural integrity and aesthetic appeal. Install rebar, concrete forms, and perform concrete finishing tasks for foundational elements of deck structures. Utilize hand tools, power tools, tape measures, and other equipment to cut, shape, and assemble materials efficiently. Perform masonry work such as stucco, siding, and plastering as needed for project completion. Manage heavy lifting tasks safely while adhering to construction site safety protocols; coordinate with team members for efficient workflow. Interpret construction plans and technical drawings accurately to meet project specifications. Conduct metal building erection activities with attention to detail and safety standards. Assist with remodeling projects involving siding, stucco, or other exterior finishes to enhance overall project value. Experience Proven construction site experience with a focus on deck building or related carpentry work. Strong background in framing carpentry, including woodworking and trim carpentry skills. Familiarity with concrete forming, finishing techniques, rebar installation, and masonry work such as stucco or siding application. Experience reading blueprints and interpreting technical drawings confidently. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, tape measures, and other construction equipment. Knowledge of metal building erection processes and metal stud framing is highly desirable. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining high-quality workmanship. Basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations essential for precise construction work. Join our team today!
