Job Description

Maintenance Technician Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair production equipment, presses, mills, tooling, and facility systems. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with industrial maintenance, mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical troubleshooting . This role is critical to minimizing downtime, maintaining equipment reliability, and supporting safe, efficient production. Responsibilities Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on presses, mills, machinery, and facility equipment. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems . Monitor equipment operation, oven temperatures, and hydraulic/temperature gauges. Repair and modify molds, mold platens, tooling, and machine components. Fabricate production items such as knockout boxes and plates. Maintain machine controls, instrumentation, and functional components. Order replacement parts and initiate purchase orders as needed. Assist with facility and physical plant maintenance. Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation. Follow safety procedures and support continuous improvement efforts to improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime. Qualifications Previous industrial maintenance experience required . Experience with presses, mills, and manufacturing equipment preferred. Knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals. Tooling and mold repair experience highly desirable. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Welding/fabrication experience is a plus. Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks. Strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, and work in an industrial environment. Ability to lift and move heavy equipment and components as needed. Comfortable working around moving machinery. Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, diagnostic equipment, and measuring instruments.
