Job Description

Position Summary The Industrial Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining the reliability and performance of WillowWood's manufacturing equipment and facility systems. This position performs preventive maintenance, diagnoses equipment issues, completes repairs, and supports continuous improvement initiatives to minimize downtime and maximize production efficiency. What You'll Do Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on manufacturing equipment and facility systems Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical (up to 480V), pneumatic, hydraulic, and basic control systems Maintain facility equipment including HVAC, compressed air, and backup power systems Install, modify, and improve production equipment to increase reliability and efficiency Read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, manuals, and technical documentation Troubleshoot equipment failures, identify root causes, and recommend long-term solutions Maintain accurate maintenance documentation and work records Support capital improvement projects and new equipment installations Follow all OSHA regulations, lockout/tagout procedures, and WillowWood safety policies Participate in an on-call rotation and work overtime or weekends when required What We're Looking For Required Qualifications High school diploma or GED Four or more years of industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting abilities Experience working with industrial equipment in a manufacturing environment Ability to work independently while collaborating with production and engineering teams Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel Ability to safely work on ladders, lifts, and elevated platforms Preferred Qualifications Associate degree or technical certification in Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, Electrical Technology, or a related field Experience with PLC troubleshooting, HVAC systems, compressed air systems, welding, fabrication, or machining equipment Experience using a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) Forklift certification or operating experience Join WillowWood At WillowWood, you'll be part of a team dedicated to innovation, craftsmanship, and improving lives.
