Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and versatile Handyman, Landscaper, & Home Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to perform a wide range of maintenance, repair, landscaping, and home improvement tasks that keep residential properties in optimal condition. The ideal candidate will be able to work alone, detail-oriented, and possess a strong home renovation aptitude. You will be responsible for maintaining building interiors and exteriors, performing repairs, and ensuring the safety and aesthetic appeal of our clients' homes. Experience Proven experience in maintenance, repair, and operations within residential or commercial settings Knowledge of HVAC systems including troubleshooting and repair techniques would be a plus Knowledge of electrical, plumbing systems, and carpentry with the ability to read technical schematics would be a plus Experience with building interior maintenance such as painting—residential painting preferred—along with facilities maintenance tasks Ability to operate tools safely and effectively while adhering to safety protocols Proficiency in English and/or Spanish We are looking for a reliable, hands-on Maintenance Technician & Handyman to help maintain our portfolio of local properties. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently, can handle a variety of repairs, and takes pride in keeping properties looking clean and well maintained. Responsibilities General apartment maintenance and repairs Basic plumbing repairs, including faucets, toilets, drains, and leaks Basic electrical repairs, including outlets, switches, fixtures, and lighting Drywall repair, patching, and painting Door, lock, cabinet, trim, and hardware repairs Apartment turnovers between tenants Minor carpentry and general repairs Troubleshooting maintenance issues Property cleanup and trash/debris removal Landscaping and exterior property maintenance Mowing, weed trimming, edging, and blowing Weed control and general landscape cleanup Seasonal cleanup and basic snow/ice removal as needed Keeping common areas and building exteriors clean and presentable Identifying maintenance problems before they become larger repairs What We're Looking For We need someone who is dependable, self-motivated, and able to work without constant supervision. You should be comfortable moving between different properties and handling a wide variety of day-to-day maintenance issues. Previous handyman, apartment maintenance, construction, remodeling, landscaping, or property maintenance experience is required, unless applying as an intern. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
