What You'll Do As a Maintenance Technician, you'll play a vital role in providing outstanding service to our residents while maintaining the quality, safety, and appearance of our apartment communities.
Responsibilities include:
Responding to resident maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner Troubleshooting and repairing plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, doors, windows, and general building systems Performing preventive maintenance throughout the community Completing apartment make-readies and unit turns Maintaining building safety and cleanliness Diagnosing maintenance issues and implementing effective solutions Completing work orders accurately using AppFolio Communicating effectively with Property Managers and fellow maintenance team members Participating in the on-call rotation after completing training Maintaining company tools, equipment, and work areas Who You Are We're looking for professionals who: Take pride in serving residents and supporting their community Are dependable, punctual, and accountable Possess strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Work efficiently while maintaining high-quality workmanship Communicate respectfully with residents, coworkers, and management Adapt to changing priorities and remain calm during emergencies Work independently while also being a strong team player Take initiative and follow through without constant supervision Want to grow with a company that invests in its people Preferred Experience Experience in one or more of the following: Apartment Maintenance HVAC Plumbing Electrical Appliance Repair Carpentry Drywall Painting Flooring Preventive Maintenance Residential Maintenance Property Management Building Maintenance Unit Turns Make-Ready Experience Qualifications Previous apartment maintenance or related maintenance experience preferred Valid driver's license with a good driving record Reliable transportation Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds Ability to use hand and power tools safely Strong organizational and time management skills Excellent customer service and communication skills Why Us?
