, with properties in the Shaker Hts. area is looking to add a Maintenance Technician to our team. The position requires the ability to prepare turnover suites for new residents moving in, complete service requests for current residents, and work with the Maintenance Supervisor on other miscellaneous tasks as assigned. Responsible for maintaining, day-to-day, the physical assets of the property under the direction of the Management Staff. Must be able to work individually and as a member of a team while performing all responsibilities including without limitation basic repairs and suite turns. This position reports directly to the Management Staff.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintain the physical condition of the property according to the companies operating manual and safety standards. Ensure that service requests and repairs are performed correctly and in a timely manner. Complete the make-ready process of vacant apartments. Maintain the grounds, which may include inspecting lights at night and the general condition of the property, controlling litter, sweeping curbs and dumpster areas. Perform minor electrical maintenance including but not be limited to the replacement or repair of light fixtures, wall switches, outlets, and fuses, and being able to make minor appliance repairs. Perform plumbing repairs such as repair leaks in drains and faucets, unclogging drains, replacing drain hoses on washers and similar devices, etc. Perform painting, minor drywall patching and minor carpentry. Clean parking lots, dumpster areas, storage and mechanical rooms and maintain a neat and orderly work area. Perform special projects or additional duties assigned by the Management that are essential for the proper operations of the property.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Must have a valid drivers license and reliable transportation Must have your own tools Periodically be On-Call in a rotation Pre-employment background check and drug screening Must supply references upon completion of the application.
