Job Description

SWA is hiring for an Industrial Maintenance Technician in Troy, OH!
Pay:
$30 hr
Shift:
Monday - Thursday 6 am - 4 am
Consideration Requirements:
Must pass a criminal background check and a drug test High school diploma or GED, plus completion of a recognized craft apprenticeship or an equivalent combination of education and production maintenance experience. Associate degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance. At least four years of manufacturing maintenance experience. Strong hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and industrial maintenance skills, along with PLC and HVAC experience. A basic understanding of variable-frequency drives (VFDs), motor starters, overload protection, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and electrical circuits. Strong troubleshooting and critical-thinking skills. Ability to work safely at heights and around hazardous chemicals while using required PPE. Dependability, regular attendance, and effective communication with coworkers and leadership. Availability to work extended hours during peak workloads or special projects.
Overview Dailey Duties:
Install, maintain, and repair production machinery and facility equipment. Respond to equipment breakdowns and perform scheduled preventive maintenance. Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. Diagnose equipment problems, repair or replace parts, test equipment, and make necessary adjustments. Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders. Perform basic machining, plumbing maintenance, and carpentry tasks. Safely use hand and power tools, electrical meters, and material-handling equipment. Identify and report equipment defects, unsafe conditions, and unusual operating issues. Follow lockout/tagout procedures, safety requirements, and PPE guidelines. Maintain clean, organized work areas and assist with other maintenance duties as assigned.
Pay:
Up to $30.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
