Utility Worker

Job Description Ohio Star Forge is seeking motivated and dependable individuals to join our production team as a Utility Person in our Warren, Ohio facility. This hands-on role supports forging, inspection, material handling, packaging, grinding, tooling, and general plant operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The Utility Person plays a critical role in maintaining production flow, product quality, and overall operational efficiency throughout the plant. Key Responsibilities Set up and operate automatic forging machines and induction bar heaters Assist with tooling changes, die setup, punches, and machine adjustments Operate shot blast, transfer, grinding, inspection, and cold rolling equipment Load and unload trucks and move materials between workstations Inspect forged products for quality and specification compliance Package and label finished products for shipment Maintain inventory accuracy and log shipping/receiving information Perform preventative maintenance and equipment checks Assist with plant housekeeping, cleaning, and organization Follow all company safety procedures and work instructions Support production needs across multiple departments as assigned Shift Availability Ohio Star Forge currently has openings available on afternoon and third shift schedule. Shift placement and training schedules may vary based on business needs and operational requirements.
