Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Staff member to ensure the optimal operation and upkeep of our facilities. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe, functional, and welcoming environment by performing a wide range of maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting tasks. Your expertise will help keep our building systems running smoothly, ensuring a positive experience for all occupants and visitors. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and facilities maintenance skills in a dynamic setting. Responsibilities Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on building systems including HVAC, electrical equipment, plumbing, and facilities infrastructure. Repair and troubleshoot electrical systems using schematics, wiring diagrams, and tools such as ohmmeters. Conduct HVAC system repairs and maintenance to ensure optimal climate control within the facility. Utilize hand tools and power tools for carpentry, painting, welding, and general repairs to building interiors and exteriors. Maintain plumbing systems by repairing leaks, clearing blockages, and replacing fixtures as needed. Read and interpret schematics for electrical wiring, mechanical systems, and HVAC units to diagnose issues accurately. Lead or assist with maintenance painting projects to uphold facility aesthetics. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and parts used in maintenance management systems (MRO). Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to maintenance requests from staff or tenants. Follow safety protocols diligently during all maintenance activities to prevent accidents or injuries. Experience Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a similar role with hands-on work in electrical, mechanical, plumbing, HVAC systems, or carpentry. Strong knowledge of electrical work including repair of electrical equipment and understanding of schematics. Familiarity with HVAC system repair and routine maintenance procedures. Experience working with plumbing systems for maintenance and repair tasks. Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and testing devices like ohmmeters confidently. Knowledge of Maintenance Repair Operations (MRO) practices for tracking work orders and inventory management. Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently while working independently or as part of a team. Good communication skills in English to understand instructions clearly and document work accurately. Knowledge of pool and pool upkeep. Pay:
