293525170 Report this job Apply Now Save To My Profile Email Print Job Description Industrial Mechanic and Technician Requires on the job experience related to manufacturing specialized products. Skillset includes grinding, basic welding, brazing, burning, heating, Mig and Tig welding on a variety of metals combined with brazing. Certifications are not required but are preferred. Overhead crane and fork truck experience is required. Fork truck certification is a plus. Basic rigging for lifting and positioning are expected. The ability read and interpret electrical and mechanical blueprints, schematics and detailed repair drawings is essential. Fabrication abilities and an understanding of components such as assembly and support structure are essential. Design correction and new product creation is helpful. A background in disassembly and reassembly of product specific components of electric induction equipment or similar products is a plus. Collaboration with electro/mechanical engineering department on progress and ideas is essential to success. This position supports other team members by answering questions, supporting training and sharing best practices. Must have a thorough understanding of personal protection equipment (PPE). Safety is paramount, PPE must be worn depending on activity performed, and this includes grinding, burning, and welding. Ability to adapt and broaden current skills to complete projects from start to finish, including preparing finished product for shipping. It's not unusual to work on multiple projects during the same time period. A strong candidate has the ability to advance and learn our specialized products which are engineered, manufactured, assembled and repaired.
