Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Technician to ensure the optimal operation and upkeep of our facilities. This role involves performing a wide range of maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting tasks across various building systems and equipment. The ideal candidate will be energetic, detail-oriented, and possess a strong mechanical aptitude to maintain a safe, efficient, and comfortable environment for all occupants. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your technical expertise while contributing to the seamless functioning of our facilities. Responsibilities Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on building systems including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical equipment. Repair and maintain electrical equipment, plumbing systems, HVAC units, and building interior components using appropriate tools and techniques. Read schematics, technical manuals, and wiring diagrams to diagnose issues accurately. Perform welding, carpentry, painting, and other general maintenance tasks to uphold facility standards. Utilize hand tools, electrical testing devices such as ohmmeters, and other specialized equipment to troubleshoot problems effectively. Supervise or assist with maintenance projects ensuring safety protocols are followed and work is completed efficiently. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and parts used in accordance with operational procedures. Skills Strong knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics, electrical work, plumbing, HVAC systems, and building interior maintenance. Proficiency in using hand tools, electrical equipment repair tools, welding equipment, and maintenance painting techniques. Mechanical knowledge with experience in facilities equipment maintenance and repair operations (MRO). Ability to read technical schematics and troubleshoot electrical or mechanical issues accurately. Experience supervising or leading maintenance teams with demonstrated leadership skills. Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders. Fluency in English for clear communication across all levels of operations. Pay:
$11.00 - $15.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
