Description We are currently looking for a Part Time 38 Maintenance Technician I to join our Border Casino Maintenance team located at the Border Casino working.Summary:
Maintains building environment and grounds by maintaining building, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning equipment as well as grounds keeping and repair services.Responsibilities:
- Secures building and occupants by maintenance of fire alarm protection
- Maintains accurate and timely processing of all electrical safety checks, preventive and corrective work orders, contracts and other applicable documentation
- Paints interior and exterior walls, trim, doors, fixtures and signs as needed
- Maintains building climate by trouble-shooting heating, ventilation, and air conditioning equipment
- Maintains building accessibility by removing ice and snow from walkways and parking lot
- Mows the lawn and cleans surrounding landscapes
- Maintains facilities plumbing including fixtures and sprinklers
- Hauls file and boxes, moves furniture, sets up furnishings, prepare rooms for meetings, assemble public announcement and audio-visual equipment following manufacturer's operating and care guidelines, and repairs and installs replacement parts to assure equipment is in working order when needed
- Identifies and corrects hazardous working conditions
- Provides first class customer service to both internal and external customers and responds to inquiries, compliments and/or complaints with professionalism, courtesy, and efficiency
- Answers questions in a courteous and professional manner
- Greets and engages with a smile
- Determines needs, seeks positive experience and outcomes
- Completes all training and development requirements and participates in continuing education opportunities
- Works in a collaborative and supportive manner to support the productivity and safety of the work area, team members and customers of all types
