Thackerville, OK Join Our Dynamic Team as a Utility Maintenance Engineer at WinStar World Hotel! $20 to $22 per hour DOE Are you a skilled handyman who loves fixing things and making a difference? We're looking for a Utility Maintenance Engineer to join our team and help keep WinStar World Hotel running smoothly and looking its best. From the guestrooms to the public spaces, you'll be at the heart of maintaining our hotel's quality and creating a memorable experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure Guest Satisfaction:

Provide excellent service with a friendly and helpful attitude. Your work will directly contribute to making each guest's stay a special one.

Perform Maintenance Tasks:

From carpentry and plumbing to electrical work and painting, you'll be responsible for a wide variety of tasks across guestrooms, public spaces, and back-of-house areas.

Hands-on Troubleshooting:

Inspect, repair, or replace light fixtures, plumbing fixtures, furniture, and more—whatever it takes to keep the hotel in pristine condition.

Wide-Ranging Skills:

Bring your expertise in basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and mechanical work into play as you tackle challenges around the property.

Teamwork:

Be responsive to maintenance complaints and work hand-in-hand with fellow team members to keep everything running smoothly.

Maintain Curb Appeal:

Keep our exterior looking great with snow removal, lawn care, and garden upkeep.

Safety and Quality:

Participate in our Safety Committee, conduct operational audits, and ensure all safety standards are followed.

Adaptable & Flexible:

Work all shifts as needed and remain open to taking on new duties as required by management.

What We're Looking For:

Experience:

At least 2 years of maintenance experience—preferably in a hotel or similar environment.

Skills & Technical Expertise:

Proficiency in electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and carpentry. A basic mechanical aptitude for handling hotel equipment is essential.

Tech-Savvy:

Computer literate with the ability to maintain accurate logs and reports.

Attention to

Detail:

Recognizing safety hazards and taking immediate action to address them is a must.

Team Player:

Ability to collaborate with colleagues, contribute to a positive work environment, and pitch in when necessary.

Physical & Mental Demands:

Physical Stamina:

Must be able to bend, twist, lift up to 80 lbs, and work in varying environments—indoor and outdoor, hot and cold temperatures.

Mental Agility:

Ability to work well under pressure and respond quickly to visual and aural cues. You'll stay on your toes in this fast-paced role!
