DOE (Depending on Experience) Offshore Energy Services is seeking Experienced Casing Floor Hands and Tong Operators for our Oklahoma operations. This is a highly physical, technical field role focused on safe casing handling, rigging operations, and CRT use on active rig floors. The successful candidate ensures all handling tools, power tongs, and equipment conform to strict safety and job standards while maintaining clear communication with casing crew, supervisors and drilling crews.
Key Responsibilities Rig Up & Rig Down Operations Rigging Up:
Assist in rigging up casing equipment, including bringing up necessary tools, specialized equipment, and hydraulic hoses from the power unit up to the rig floor.
Tail Rope Setup:
Properly rig up the tail rope in compliance with operational and safety protocols.
Rigging Down:
Efficiently disassemble, clean, and rig down casing equipment upon job completion.
Tool Operation & Casing Handling Tong Operations:
Handle, move, position, and operate casing or tubing tongs safely on the rig floor.
Backup Tongs:
Throw backup tongs quickly and accurately when needed during making or breaking connections.
Equipment Navigation:
Safely operate, maneuver, and navigate approved field equipment and machinery.
