$35.00-$45.00/hour Depending on Experience About the Opportunity Cornell Pump is seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our manufacturing team in Clackamas, Oregon. This role is ideal for a hands-on maintenance professional with strong troubleshooting abilities and proven experience servicing, repairing, and maintaining CNC equipment in an industrial manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment and machinery. Troubleshoot and repair CNC machines and related production equipment. Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic system failures. Conduct equipment repairs, adjustments, and calibrations to ensure optimal machine performance. Maintain and repair facility systems including electrical, plumbing, and general building infrastructure. Partner with production and operations teams to identify recurring equipment issues and implement long-term corrective actions. Coordinate and manage third-party service vendors for specialized repairs and facility projects. Maintain accurate maintenance records, service logs, and work orders. Ensure compliance with all company safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Support continuous improvement initiatives that enhance equipment reliability and uptime. Required Qualifications Minimum of 3 years of industrial maintenance experience within a manufacturing environment. Demonstrated experience troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining CNC machinery .
Strong understanding of:
Mechanical systems Electrical systems Hydraulic systems Pneumatic systems Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation and respond to maintenance emergencies when needed. Preferred Qualifications Associate Degree in Industrial Maintenance, Manufacturing Technology, Mechatronics, or a related field. Experience with predictive and preventive maintenance programs. Forklift certification or previous experience operating material handling equipment. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, and work in various manufacturing environments. Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials and equipment as required. Ability to safely operate forklifts, lifts, and other maintenance equipment. Must be able to work around moving machinery and equipment while following all safety protocols.
