Our dynamic environment has many opportunities to learn, grow, and be a leader. This is an entry level position. We are looking for individuals interested in precision mechanical repairs, machine set-up and operation, general purpose test equipment, and many types of mechanical troubleshooting and repair for high speed machining centers, large facilities, and vehicles.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Follow daily, weekly, monthly preventive maintenance schedules Ensure equipment is properly lubricated per manufactures recommendation Clean and maintain production machinery Fill production machinery with coolant and verify coolant concentrations Perform daily facility and equipment checks to ensure machinery is running properly Assist with moving and installing equipment Utilize work order and pm management system, maintain records of tasks and repairs performed Perform basic pneumatic and plumbing repairs Perform basic building maintenance repairs such as plumbing, painting and changing filters Basic vehicle maintenance on forklifts, trucks and trailers We are looking for candidates who: Can safely handle standard hand tools and power tools Basic understanding of machinery and the ability to replace worn parts and lubricate moving components Own a set of basic hand tools Can communicate and work with other members of a maintenance team Effectively problem solve, prioritize, and follow through on assignments and projects Have the ability to lift 50 lbs Have a valid driver's license and clean driving record, with the ability to obtain forklift certification Have a record of continued learning and educationEducation and Qualifications:
High School Degree or GED Drivers License Basic welding and fabrication skills a plus but not required Automotive repair or prior maintenance experience a plus Davis Tool offers generous benefits, including medical, vision, dental, and 401(k) with match.
