Maintenance Technician Location:

Prineville Position Summary PrideStaff is seeking a safety-minded, skilled Maintenance Technician for a leading manufacturing facility in Prineville. Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial equipment and machinery to ensure peak efficiency. Fabricate and update custom production jigs and support structural equipment needs. Utilize welding, mechanical, general electrical, and basic PLC troubleshooting skills. Maintain strict adherence to all safety protocols, with a major focus on Lockout/Tagout (LOTO). Key Responsibilities Inspect, maintain, and repair production machinery and facility equipment to ensure optimal running condition. Utilize designs to fabricate, update, and maintain custom jigs for high-movement equipment. Perform general welding, metal fabrication, and mechanical repairs. Safely operate facility machinery and train team members on proper equipment operation. Observe and enforce strict safety policies, including Lockout/Tagout protocols. Communicate machine status, concerns, and maintenance progress to management. Qualifications & Requirements Strong safety-first mindset and advanced knowledge of industrial machinery and equipment operation. General welding capability and metal fabrication experience required. Working knowledge of general electrical systems and basic PLC functionality. Millwright training or background is strongly preferred. Ability to lift up to 25 lbs frequently and occasionally up to 70 lbs. Comfortable working in an active, covered outdoor/indoor manufacturing environment subject to weather, noise, and dust.
