Job Description

Simpson Housing LLLP is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to support daily maintenance operations at our multifamily apartment community. In this role, you will complete resident service requests, perform routine and preventative maintenance on building systems, and ensure apartments are ready for move-in. Responsibilities include troubleshooting basic electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and appliance issues; maintaining common areas; coordinating with vendors; and responding to emergency calls. You'll work closely with a professional, resident-focused team committed to integrity, high-quality service, and well-maintained communities, with training and growth opportunities in multifamily real estate. Responsibilities Complete resident maintenance and repair service requests promptly and professionally Perform routine and preventive maintenance on building systems and equipment Troubleshoot and repair basic electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and appliance issues Prepare apartments for move-in, including repairs, painting, and basic upgrades Maintain cleanliness and safety of common areas, grounds, and building exteriors Assist with vendor coordination and oversee contracted maintenance work as needed Respond to on-call and emergency maintenance requests as assigned Follow company safety standards, policies, and maintenance procedures Document work completed and parts used in maintenance management systems Support property operations team to ensure high resident satisfaction Required Skills Preventive maintenance Basic electrical repair Basic plumbing repair HVAC troubleshooting Appliance repair Building systems maintenance Unit turns and make-ready Safety and OSHA compliance Work order management Vendor coordination
