Job Description

Plumber & Maintenance Technician Responsibilities:
Perform general maintenance, plumbing repairs, and building upkeep Install, maintain, repair, and replace plumbing fixtures, water, waste, storm, and sewer lines, valves, fittings, and piping, and gas and fuel lines Inspect and maintain laundry equipment, pools, pumps, and water treatment systems Performs preventative maintenance on plumbing systems and equipment Inspect fire sprinkler booster pumps and maintain compliance documentation Identify leaks, deficiencies, and other building issues and recommend repairs Respond to maintenance work orders and emergency situations Assist with HVAC, boilers, and water heating/distribution systems Support snow removal, furniture/event setups, parking assistance, and other general maintenance needs Maintain inventory of materials and supplies Occasionally work evenings, weekends, holidays, snow days, or other off-hours as needed
Requirements:
Able to lift 50+ pounds throughout an 8-10 hour day Able to stand, walk, bend, climb, and perform manual labor for extended periods Ability to work outdoors and perform grounds/maintenance projects Strong written and verbal communication skills Professional and respectful interaction with students, faculty, staff, vendors, and contractors
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in plumbing and general maintenance within a school or similar environment High school diploma required Valid driver's license with a clean record Ability to read and understand plumbing plans and blueprints Must be at least 18 years old To apply, send your resume to Charlotte@libertyjobs.com #accountingjobs1776
