The Hearth at Drexel is a premier retirement community in Bala Cynwyd, PA. We take pride in our dedicated team members who support and care for our residents.
Shift/Schedule Available:
Full-Time - 8:00pm-4:00pm including every other weekend.
Some job responsibilities include:
Repairs and maintains physical structure of continuing care community using hand tools and power tools. Also involves alteration and construction work. Repair and maintain wooden and metal structures such as furniture, desks, equipment, partitions, and other parts of residence buildings using hand tools and power tools as per work orders. Repair and adjust metal casement windows, storm windows, screens, and doors using hand and portable power tools. Demo and install kitchen cabinets, hot water heaters, and garbage disposals as needed. Adjust, repair, and replace door locks and hinges as per work orders. Perform repairs on water faucets, toilets, and drains as per work orders. Perform preventative maintenance on equipment to ensure they are properly functioning. Patch and paint as assigned.
Education and Experience:
High School graduate or equivalent. Current active Pennsylvania driver's license. Two years' experience in a related field preferred. Here are just some of the benefits of coming to work for The Hearth at
