7:00am to 3:30pm Job Description The Maintenance Technician ensures the reliable operation, repair, and preventive maintenance of industrial machinery and mechanical equipment in a manufacturing environment. This role focuses on diagnosing mechanical issues, performing corrective and preventive maintenance, and supporting continuous production by minimizing equipment downtime. Responsibilities Perform mechanical maintenance and repair on industrial machinery, conveyor systems, gears, and belts to ensure safe and efficient operation. Carry out routine preventive maintenance on machinery and mechanical equipment, including gears and belts, to reduce unplanned downtime. Locate sources of mechanical problems by observing equipment in operation, listening for irregular noises, and using precision measuring and testing instruments. Troubleshoot and repair issues involving mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and piping systems as needed. Read, interpret, and work from drawings, blueprints, and schematics to diagnose issues and execute repairs or installations. Remove defective parts by dismantling devices using hoists, cranes, and hand and power tools, and examine the form and texture of parts to determine wear or damage. Essential Skills 4+ years of manufacturing experience with strong mechanical and industrial skills. 5+ years working in an industrial maintenance technician role. Demonstrated mechanical troubleshooting experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment. Ability to read and comprehend drawings, blueprints, and schematics. Basic skills in electrical systems, including experience with PLCs and HVAC preferred. Why Work Here? Work Environment The role is based in an industrial building located in Pennsylvania, working on manufacturing and industrial paper machines in a production setting. The shift runs from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with weekends potentially required based on operational needs. The environment involves working around conveyor systems, gears, belts, pneumatic tools, hoists, cranes, and other industrial equipment. Work is hands-on, often on the production floor, with exposure to typical industrial conditions such as machinery noise and moving equipment. Appropriate safety gear and attire are expected in alignment with industrial safety standards. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Clinton, PA.
