Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a proactive and skilled Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety, functionality, and aesthetic appeal of our facilities by performing a wide range of maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting tasks. Your expertise will help maintain a comfortable, efficient environment for staff and visitors alike. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry skills in a fast-paced setting that values innovation and teamwork. Responsibilities Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on facilities equipment including HVAC systems, electrical panels, plumbing systems, and building interior components. Troubleshoot and repair electrical equipment using schematics, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools to ensure optimal operation. Conduct HVAC system repairs and maintenance to maintain proper climate control throughout the facility. Utilize hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment Carry out carpentry tasks including maintenance painting, drywall repairs, door adjustments, and building interior upkeep. Repair plumbing systems and perform routine plumbing maintenance to prevent leaks or failures. Lead small teams or coordinate with contractors during major repairs or upgrades when necessary. Ensure compliance with safety standards by following proper procedures for electrical work, mechanical repairs, and other technical tasks. Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to internal requests for maintenance support and ensuring minimal disruption to daily operations. Experience Experience in facilities maintenance or a similar role with a strong background in electrical work, plumbing, HVAC repair, carpentry, and mechanical troubleshooting is a plus. Knowledge of building interior maintenance practices including painting (residential or commercial), drywall repair, and general handyman skills. Excellent communication skills in English to effectively document work activities and collaborate with team members. Pay:
$16.00 - $23.00 per hour Expected hours: 30.0 - 40.0 per week
