Job Description
Overview Join Tepedino Restaurant Group as a Maintenance Technician where you will assist with ensuring the seamless operation of our facilities and equipment. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting a wide range of mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and kitchen systems to keep our operations running smoothly. Your expertise in repairing kitchen and food preparation equipment as well as our other mechanical systems will help us deliver exceptional service and uphold safety standards across our locations. This position offers the opportunity to apply your technical skills in a fast-paced environment where proactive maintenance and problem-solving are required. Responsibilities Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC systems, refrigeration units, kitchen equipment, and other mechanical systems to ensure optimal performance. Diagnose issues using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools; execute repairs efficiently to minimize downtime. Conduct appliance installation, repair, and servicing across various equipment including HVAC units, refrigeration systems, and kitchen appliances. Transport tools, parts, or equipment as needed for maintenance tasks throughout our locations Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and parts used; update logs regularly for compliance and reporting purposes. Troubleshoot complex mechanical problems by interpreting schematics and technical diagrams; implement effective solutions swiftly. Qualifications Proven experience as a service technician with a strong background in kitchen appliance repair, HVAC/R systems, refrigeration, or mechanical systems repair. Knowledge of schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic procedures for HVAC & appliance technology. Skilled in HVAC system repair, air conditioning maintenance, kitchen equipment servicing, and refrigeration troubleshooting. Ability to operate equipment repair tools confidently and perform appliance installation with precision. Mechanical knowledge complemented by experience with maintenance, repair & operations (MRO) practices.
