Key Responsibilities Install, align, and maintain conveyor belting systems (V-belts, timing belts, modular belts, welded belts). Maintain and repair chain drives, tensioners, and lubrication systems. Inspect and replace worn or failing mechanical parts. Fabricate, weld, and install mechanical components as needed. Install and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems, including cylinders, valves, flow controls, filters, and dryers. Perform preventive maintenance and lubrication tasks. Troubleshoot mechanical failures using root cause analysis and critical thinking. Interpret mechanical schematics, flow diagrams, and equipment manuals. Support production teams by responding quickly to equipment breakdowns. Core Skills / Competencies Conveyor and belt installation, tracking, and repair. Chain drive systems (metric & standard pitch, specialty applications). Hydraulic system components (valves, regulators, cylinders, rebuilding). Pneumatic systems (filters, dryers, liquid separators). Fabrication and machining (drilling, tapping, mounting, welding). Troubleshooting and problem-solving in high-paced environments. Preventive maintenance and lubrication practices. Preferred Experience 3-5+ years in industrial or mechanical maintenance. Strong experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, and conveyor systems. Ability to read and interpret mechanical and hydraulic schematics. Familiarity with PM programs and computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS). Welding and fabrication experience is a plus.
