Maintenance Technician Monarch Management Group (MMG) | Honesdale, PA Monarch Management Group (MMG), a rapidly growing affordable housing property management company, is seeking a reliable, skilled, and motivated Maintenance Technician to join our team. Compensation:

Health insurance SEP-IRA retirement plan with employer matching Paid vacation Paid sick leave Full-time, stable employment with growth opportunities Position Summary The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the upkeep, repair, and preventive maintenance of apartment communities. This role requires strong troubleshooting skills, attention to detail, and the ability to respond effectively to maintenance needs while providing exceptional service to residents. Key Responsibilities Perform preventive maintenance on apartment buildings and residential units Diagnose and repair basic electrical, plumbing, drywall, and painting issues Respond promptly and efficiently to maintenance work orders Ensure apartments, common areas, and property grounds remain safe, functional, and attractive Maintain, organize, and inventory maintenance supplies and equipment Assist with landscaping, lawn care, and general groundskeeping Perform snow removal and sidewalk salting during winter weather Communicate maintenance concerns, major repairs, and purchasing needs to the Regional Maintenance Manager Participate in an on-call rotation to address emergency maintenance situations Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of maintenance experience , preferably in apartment, residential, or property maintenance Working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, drywall repair, and painting Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities Dependable, organized, and committed to providing high-quality workmanship Availability for on-call emergency maintenance as neededBenefits
