Assistant Maintenance Director Scenery Hills Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center Scenery Hills Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center is seeking a dependable and experienced Assistant Maintenance Director to join our team. This position will assist the Maintenance Director with the day-to-day maintenance and operation of the facility while helping ensure a safe, clean, and well-maintained environment for our residents, employees, and visitors. Responsibilities Assist the Maintenance Director with daily maintenance operations Perform routine maintenance and repairs throughout the facility Complete basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and general repair work Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner Assist with preventative maintenance of facility equipment and systems Inspect the building and grounds for maintenance and safety concerns Assist with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and other building systems Complete repairs in resident rooms, common areas, offices, and other areas of the facility Assist with maintaining maintenance supplies, tools, and equipment Help coordinate and prioritize maintenance projects and work orders Assist with required inspections and maintenance documentation Assist with snow removal and seasonal grounds maintenance as needed Follow all facility safety procedures and applicable regulations Assist with emergency maintenance needs and on-call responsibilities as needed Support the Maintenance Director with maintaining compliance with applicable healthcare and life-safety requirements Qualifications Previous maintenance experience required Healthcare, skilled nursing, or long-term care maintenance experience preferred General knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and building maintenance Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Reliable, organized, and able to prioritize multiple maintenance needs Leadership or supervisory experience is a plus Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position What We Offer Competitive pay Health, dental, and vision insurance for eligible employees Paid time off 401(k) program Opportunities for growth and advancement Supportive team environment TapCheck - access your earned wages without waiting for payday If you are an experienced maintenance professional looking to take the next step in your career, apply today to join Scenery Hills Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center as our Assistant Maintenance Director!
