Duties Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC systems, refrigeration units, kitchen equipment, and mechanical systems to prevent breakdowns and extend equipment lifespan. Troubleshoot and repair appliances, HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/Refrigeration), and mechanical systems using schematics and technical manuals. Install new appliances, HVAC units, and mechanical equipment following manufacturer specifications and safety standards. Conduct repairs on air conditioning units, refrigeration systems, kitchen appliances, and other mechanical components to ensure optimal performance. Operate company vehicles safely to transport tools, parts, or equipment as needed for maintenance tasks. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, parts used, and system inspections in compliance with operational procedures. Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff or management to minimize downtime and maintain operational efficiency. Skills Extensive knowledge of appliance repair, HVAC & appliance technology, refrigeration systems, and mechanical systems repair. Ability to read schematics and technical diagrams for troubleshooting complex mechanical or electrical issues. Proven experience with HVAC system repair including air conditioning units and HVAC/R systems. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in appliance installation and maintenance. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to non-technical staff. Experience working with maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) procedures in a fast-paced environment. Valid driver's license with experience operating company vehicles safely. Leadership qualities that enable effective teamwork and supervision of maintenance activities when needed.
