About the Role As an Industrial Maintenance Technician, you will serve as a vital member of our technical team, ensuring the seamless operation of complex manufacturing systems. You will utilize your expertise in electrical and mechanical systems to drive equipment reliability, minimize downtime, and optimize production efficiency. Responsibilities Diagnose and resolve complex electrical and mechanical failures across automated production lines, robotics, and material handling systems. Execute proactive maintenance schedules to extend equipment lifespan and ensure peak performance of critical machinery. Analyze and interpret electrical schematics, PLC ladder logic, and mechanical drawings to identify root causes of system interruptions. Maintain high-voltage electrical systems, including motor controls, VFDs, and control panels, to support continuous manufacturing output. Service diverse mechanical components such as hydraulics, pneumatics, gearboxes, and power transmission systems to ensure operational integrity. Document all maintenance activities and equipment history within our digital management system to facilitate data-driven reliability improvements. Uphold rigorous safety standards, including lockout/tagout protocols, to foster a secure and compliant working environment. Qualifications Required Skills Technical degree or certification in Mechatronics, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field. 3-5 years of hands-on experience maintaining industrial equipment in a high-volume manufacturing setting. Demonstrated proficiency in troubleshooting 480V three-phase power systems and complex control circuits. Strong mechanical aptitude with experience servicing hydraulic, pneumatic, and power transmission hardware. Ability to read and troubleshoot PLC logic and interpret detailed technical schematics. Preferred Skills Active Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent professional certification. Experience with industrial robotics and advanced variable frequency drive (VFD) programming. Background in welding, fabrication, or continuous improvement methodologies like Six Sigma. Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) for work order tracking.
