We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Air Duct Cleaning Technician to join our team, learn the trade, and grow into a long-term career with us. Job Summary The Air Duct Cleaning Technician is responsible for providing professional residential and commercial air duct and ventilation cleaning services while maintaining a high standard of workmanship and customer care. Technicians will be trained to safely operate specialized vacuum and cleaning equipment, inspect HVAC and ventilation systems, prepare and protect customer properties, perform thorough cleaning, document completed work, and identify conditions that may require additional attention. The ideal candidate takes pride in doing quality work, is comfortable working in a variety of environments, communicates professionally with customers, and is eager to develop technical skills within the HVAC and indoor air quality industry. Key Responsibilities Inspect and clean residential and commercial HVAC ductwork, ventilation systems, dryer vents, and related components using specialized equipment and tools. Set up, operate, and safely break down high-powered vacuum systems, hoses, containment systems, and other specialized cleaning equipment. Properly protect floors, walls, furniture, and other areas of the customer's property before beginning work. Perform thorough cleaning of ductwork, registers, grilles, ventilation components, and other applicable system components. Perform pre- and post-cleaning inspections and document the condition of the system and work completed. Identify potential ductwork leaks, damage, excessive buildup, airflow concerns, or other conditions that may require attention and communicate those findings appropriately. Clearly explain the cleaning process and completed work to customers in a professional and respectful manner. Maintain a clean and organized work area throughout the project and leave the customer's property in excellent condition upon completion. Complete required job documentation, photographs, and service notes accurately and in a timely manner. Maintain company vehicles, tools, equipment, and cleaning systems in clean, safe, and proper working condition. Follow all company safety procedures, quality standards, and manufacturer recommendations. Work effectively with other technicians and team members to complete projects safely and efficiently. Earn $40,000-$50,000/year while learning the trade. Get certified to advance to a Lead Technician or Specialist role earning $50,000-$90,000/year or more.

Position Requirements Comfortable working in tight spaces, including attics, crawl spaces, basements, and mechanical areas. Comfortable working on ladders and occasionally at heights. Ability to perform physically demanding work throughout the workday. Ability to lift and carry up to 50-75 lbs. Ability to safely operate or learn to operate hand tools, power tools, vacuum systems, and specialized cleaning equipment. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and reliable transportation to and from work. Ability to pass a background check and drug screening test. Dependable attendance and punctuality. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Strong team player with a positive attitude, solid work ethic, and desire to learn. Professional and respectful communication style when interacting with co-workers, supervisors, and customers. Ability to follow directions, safety procedures, and company standards. Previous HVAC, air duct cleaning, construction, restoration, or related experience is preferred but not required .
