EMHS is seeking a full time Maintenance Technician to join our Facility Services team. This position is 7:00pm-3:00 pm 40 hours/week, primarily Monday through Friday with rotating weekends, Holidays, and on-call.

Minimum Qualifications:

Ability to read and comprehend material, write and follow written and oral instructions. General knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and mechanical work. Must be able to assume on-call responsibilities. Must possess a valid Drivers License.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Performs maintenance procedures as directed by the Plant Manager. Makes required repairs, modifications, and alterations to facility equipment. Assist the Plant Manager in preventative maintenance programs and maintain records as assigned. Complete all priority work orders in a timely manner. Performs grounds maintenance activities such as mowing lawns, raking, trimming hedges, snow removal, cleaning of debris, etc. Acts as a secondary courier to perform trips to the blood bank, pick up/delivery of equipment, supplies, building materials, mail, and other duties as assigned.
