Job Description

Maintenance Technician Holy Family Senior Living, Inc. (HFSL) is a non-profit provider of affordable housing and healthcare services for seniors. Our Mission is to provide quality care with dignity and compassion, to meet the needs of the older adults we serve. We are seeking a motivated and skilled Maintenance Technician to work at the following properties: Neumann in St Clair PA St Ann Senior in Lansford PA Holy Family Apt. New Philadelphia PA He/she would also help, at Queen of Peace in Pottsville PA if needed.
Primary Job Duties:
Responsible for routine preventative maintenance, repairs, and completion of service requests/work orders. Turnover vacated apartments in preparation for new tenants including painting, maintenance, carpentry work, flooring, appliance repair/replacement, and cleaning. Performs housekeeping and janitorial tasks in public and common areas including mopping, sweeping, scrubbing, stripping, polishing/buffing, and waxing. Washes windows, blinds, and walls; pressure wash sidewalks, patios, and tiled surfaces. Clean and shampoo carpeted areas. Maintains maintenance shop and equipment. Performs seasonal grounds maintenance including mowing, trimming, planting, weeding, watering, and brush/leaf/trash collection, snow removal and other related duties. Respond to emergency calls after regular business hours is required.
Requirements:
5+ years of property/tenant maintenance or related experience is required. Previous experience working in a senior community is a plus! Valid Driver's License Proven knowledge of general carpentry, electrical, HVAC and plumbing required. Must be reliable and able to problem-solve! The equivalent combination of education and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
