Job Description

The Yorktowne Hotel, a Tapestry Collection by Hilton, is hiring a Maintenance Tech. The hotel maintenance technician keeps the hotel's physical building, guest rooms, and equipment safe, clean, and working well.
Responsibilities:
Guest Repairs:
Fix broken items in guest rooms quickly, such as leaking faucets, broken TVs, or jammed doors.
Preventive Upkeep:
Inspect and service heating, cooling, plumbing, and electrical systems to stop problems before they start.
General Maintenance:
Paint walls, fix drywall, patch furniture, and replace burnt-out light bulbs.
Emergency Response:
Answer urgent calls from the front desk or guests to fix sudden breakdowns.
Safety & Logs:
Follow safety rules, use safety lockouts, and log all completed work tasks.
Qualifications:
Education:
High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Technical Skills:
Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, and HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning).
Physical Ability:
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for long periods, and climb ladders.
Customer Service:
Professional and polite communication when working around hotel guests.
