Job Description

Top Flight Maintenance is hiring a dependable and motivated Data Center Grounds Maintenance Technician to support a high-security data center campus in Wyoming. This hybrid role combines outdoor facilities maintenance with commercial grounds care to keep the property safe, clean, secure, and professionally maintained year-round. The technician performs hands-on exterior maintenance, grounds work, general repairs, snow response, and site-support projects.
Key Responsibilities Outdoor Facilities Maintenance:
Perform routine exterior property maintenance and repairs; maintain sidewalks, parking lots, fencing, gates, signage, and other site assets; complete minor carpentry, painting, pressure washing, and general handyman tasks.
Grounds Maintenance:
Mow, trim, edge, weed, prune, maintain landscape beds, shrubs, and trees; assist with irrigation inspections and minor repairs; complete seasonal cleanup.
Snow & Weather Response:
Assist with snow management and ice mitigation, operate snow equipment when trained, and respond to weather-related site needs including evenings, weekends, and extended hours during snow season.
Equipment & Work Orders:
Complete assigned work orders accurately and on time and maintain company vehicles, trailers, equipment, and tools.
Safety & Security:
Follow company safety policies and customer security requirements while safely operating commercial landscape equipment, power tools, and company vehicles.
Communication & Independence:
Work independently, manage daily priorities, and communicate professionally with supervisors, coworkers, and customers. Experience in facilities maintenance, grounds maintenance, construction, landscaping, or a related trade preferred. Mechanical aptitude with the ability to safely operate equipment and tools. Self-motivated, dependable, and able to work with minimal supervision. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and commitment to quality workmanship. Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record. Ability to pass a background check and meet data center security requirements. What Success Looks Like Exterior areas and commercial grounds remain clean, safe, secure, and professionally maintained throughout the year. Preventative maintenance needs are identified and reported, and assigned work orders are completed accurately and on time. Equipment, tools, vehicles, and site assets are operated and maintained safely. Snow and severe-weather response needs are supported reliably, including outside normal weekday hours when required. Customer security requirements and company safety policies are followed consistently.
