Job Overview Maintenance Person. Candidates will help ensure the smooth operation of our hotel through effective maintenance and repair tasks. This position requires an individual who can work both independently and as part of a team. Basic mechanical, carpentry, electrical, and or plumbing knowledge is helpful. Customer service skills are also necessary as this position also requires direct interactions with guests. Duties Perform routine maintenance tasks on various equipment and facilities inside and outside. Conduct repairs and painting to maintain the aesthetic appeal of the property. Candidates should be prepared to demonstrate their skills during the interview process. Customer service-oriented mindset with a focus on quality work. Ability to complete projects without supervision. Assist other departments as needed. Hours are primarily 1000-1800 and may include weekends. and some early or late hours depending on projects or weather. Must be able to lift 50lbs Snow removal is a mandatory element of employment and may require hours to shift. Must pass background check.
