Maintenance Technician I (Entry Level)

Facilities Manager Position Summary Entry-level role focused on supporting facility operations and learning basic maintenance practices. Performs routine tasks under supervision to maintain a safe, clean, and functional environment across manufacturing, warehouse, and office areas. Key Responsibilities Assist with general maintenance tasks (basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry repairs) Support preventative maintenance activities on facility systems and equipment Respond to maintenance requests with guidance from senior technicians Perform general labor tasks (moving equipment, materials, workspace setup) Maintain cleanliness and 6S standards across facility areas Support groundskeeping (snow removal, salting, outdoor upkeep) Follow all safety, PPE, and environmental procedures Identify and report maintenance issues or risks Qualifications High school diploma or GED required 0-1 year relevant experience (or willingness to learn) Basic familiarity with hand tools preferred Skills & Competencies Strong work ethic and reliability Mechanical aptitude (basic level) Willingness to learn and take direction Safety awareness
