Job Description
Worthington Enterprises is hiring a Maintenance Technician in West Warwick, RI. This is a full-time position. Worthington Enterprises-Amtrol is looking for Maintenance Technicians on 2nd (2: 30pm-11: 00pm) and 3rd (10: 30pm-7: 00am) shifts to join our team. Worthington Enterprises - Amtrol is a leading manufacturer of pressure vessels for water systems, plumbing, heating, gas storage, ventilation and air conditioning applications. In this role, Maintenance Technicians are responsible for performing preventative maintenance, mechanical repairs, and machine troubleshooting. Candidates must possess advanced skills in electrical systems, and have experience or knowledge of PLCs, and the ability to read ladder logic. Why Worthington Enterprises? Job Responsibilities Troubleshoot and repair advanced mechanical and electrical issues. Perform preventative maintenance and machine adjustments. Complete welding and fabrication tasks. Enter maintenance data accurately and promptly. Apply advanced electrical skills safely in the maintenance field.
Desired Experience/Skills and Qualifications Minimum 2 years of experience in maintenance with electrical and PLC skills. Advanced knowledge of electrical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and plumbing. Strong mechanical, welding, and cutting abilities. Ability to read and interpret mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics. Hands-on experience with meters and measurements. Must pass an electrical board and PLC programming assessment. Training in CPR, first aid, lockout/tagout, fall protection, PPE, and confined spaces may be required. Basic English proficiency is required to read safety instructions, understand work orders, and communicate with supervisors and coworkers. Ability to follow verbal and written instructions in English.
