Responsibilities Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/Refrigeration) systems to ensure optimal performance. Diagnose and repair appliances, mechanical equipment, and electrical systems using schematics and technical manuals. Conduct equipment repairs and troubleshoot issues related to air conditioning units, refrigeration systems, and other mechanical devices. Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to accurately identify issues and implement solutions. Assist with construction or renovation projects by installing or upgrading mechanical systems as needed. Lead small teams or coordinate with contractors during maintenance projects to ensure timely completion. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and parts used to support operational transparency. Experience Proven service technician experience with appliance repair or equipment maintenance in commercial or industrial settings. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in HVAC/R systems, refrigeration, or related fields. Familiarity with schematics, technical drawings, and troubleshooting procedures. Experience in construction or building maintenance is a plus. Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to guide team members or coordinate with external contractors. Knowledge of safety protocols related to electrical work, HVAC/R systems, and general maintenance practices.
