What You'll Do Perform general building maintenance and repairs Complete work orders in a timely and professional manner Conduct carpentry, drywall, painting, flooring, plumbing, and basic electrical repairs Perform preventive maintenance and facility inspections Assist with facility renovations and improvement projects Maintain grounds, walkways, parking areas, and exterior building features Coordinate with outside contractors as needed Maintain tools, equipment, and maintenance inventory Ensure compliance with safety standards and building codes Document completed work and communicate repair needs effectively What We're Looking For Required Qualifications High School Diploma or GED At least two (2) years of experience in building maintenance, construction, carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, or a related trade Valid South Carolina driver's license with an acceptable driving record Ability to safely operate hand and power tools Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently while also contributing to a team environment Preferred Qualifications Experience with residential and commercial facility maintenance Experience in multiple skilled trades Knowledge of building code requirements and preventive maintenance practices Why Join Ability Beyond Barriers?
