A Building and General Maintenance Technician performs building maintenance and appliance repairs for an apartment complex, housing division, residential center or business, as directed by a property manager.

We are looking for an experienced Pool Service Technician to join our service team. Myrtle Beach / Murrells Inlet / surrounding areas What You'll Do Perform weekly swimming pool service and maintenance Test and balance pool water chemistry Inspect and maintain pumps, filters, heaters, salt systems, chlorinators, automation systems, and other pool equipment Diagnose equipment and plumbing problems Perform equipment repairs and replacements Troubleshoot pumps that are losing prime, leaking, or not operating properly Troubleshoot salt systems and chlorine feeders Perform filter cleanings and maintenance Replace valves, pumps, heaters, salt cells, filters, and other pool equipment Identify leaks and other equipment-related issues Complete service and repair work orders accurately Take photos and document problems and completed repairs Communicate professionally with customers when necessary Keep the service vehicle, tools, and equipment clean and organized Follow company procedures and safety requirements Maintain a professional appearance and attitude while representing Backyard Oasis What We're Looking For 2+ years of professional swimming pool service experience preferred Strong knowledge of swimming pool equipment and water chemistry Experience troubleshooting and repairing pool equipment Experience with pumps, filters, heaters, salt systems, chlorinators, valves, and automation Ability to diagnose problems rather than simply replace equipment Ability to work independently and manage a daily route Good communication and customer service skills Strong attention to detail Reliable and dependable Valid driver's license and good driving record Ability to lift equipment, carry supplies, and work outdoors in hot weather Must be comfortable working around swimming pools and pool equipment Experience With These Systems Is a Plus Pentair Jandy Hayward Salt chlorine generators Pool automation systems Gas pool heaters Variable-speed pumps Sand, cartridge, and DE filters Pool plumbing and valves What We Offer Competitive hourly pay based on experience Full-time, year-round employment Monday-Friday schedule Company vehicle While Working Company-provided tools and equipment Opportunities for overtime when available Opportunities for raises and advancement Stable work with a growing local company A professional work environment where quality workmanship matters The Right Person for This Position We are looking for someone who can show up, diagnose the problem, fix it correctly, and take ownership of the job.
