Job Description
Backyard Oasis is seeking a dependable, hardworking Swimming Pool Cleaner / Pool Service Technician to maintain residential and commercial swimming pools. This position is responsible for cleaning pools, balancing water chemistry, inspecting equipment, and providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work outdoors in various weather conditions. Duties & Responsibilities Clean and maintain residential and commercial swimming pools. Test and balance pool water chemistry. Add and adjust chemicals as needed. Brush pool walls, steps, tanning ledges, and tile lines. Vacuum pools and remove debris. Empty skimmer baskets, pump baskets, and cleaner bags. Inspect pool equipment for proper operation. Report equipment issues, leaks, or repair needs to management. Backwash and clean filters as required. Maintain accurate service records and chemical logs. Ensure pool areas are clean and presentable. Communicate professionally with customers regarding pool conditions and service recommendations. Operate company vehicles and maintain a clean, organized work truck. Qualifications Previous pool service experience preferred but not required. Ability to work independently and manage a daily route. Strong attention to detail and time management skills. Basic knowledge of pool equipment and water chemistry is a plus. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly. Comfortable working outdoors in heat, humidity, and varying weather conditions. Strong work ethic and positive attitude. Physical Requirements Frequent lifting, bending, kneeling, and standing. Ability to carry chemicals, equipment, and pool cleaning tools.
